Gonna read the Manifesto of Futurism cuz I’m bored.
The entire manifesto is short (four pages in my pdf). It’s written like a fiction novel. Lots of literary flourish added to it. Here’s a sample:
This intro spans approximately a page (about half of the first and half of the second). It details the wild antics of a group of you g men as they wildly race around in their car and get into an accident.
After this we get to the eleven point manifesto of this document. The last two points in particular stand out to me. Describing war as “the world’s only hygiene” and calling for the destruction of museums, libraries, and academies of every kind.
It describes museums as “graveyards” that litter Italy. Museums, as well as libraries and academies, stifle the ambitious wills of the young. It implores the reader not to waste their time in this “eternal and futile worship of the past”.
After denegrating museums and academies it encourages the reader to do the following:
It ends with the future of the current generation of futurists and what will happen to them.

Finally, it ends with the proclamation that they will “hurl defiance to the stars!”
This paragraph sounds like something @bronzeagemantis would like.
