#BAEKYEON musical coincidences; a thread.
In LOL, Taeyeon is singing about a person who she had a past relationship, and she wants to be with him again, but he's too shy, afraid or embarrassed in being close with her.
Paris is known for being both the City of Lights and Love.
Taeyeon refers to someone as Fire, with a personality that warms her. Baekhyun talks directly about a woman of cold personality and says "Like fire and ice, we are". In both songs, they talk something cold is being warmed by something hot.
They also refer to the smoke. Fire uses it as the couple's past and her memories, while Ice Queen uses it as a metaphor to the couple's combustion.
"It's about lovers who were close like twins and who loved each other so much but had to break up. The lyrics are about the heart-breaking love. It feels like a distant memory. When I sang the song, I tried to make my voice more feminine. Like a girl who misses her ex-boyfriend."
In Secret, she makes a confession: she has not yet forgotten a person, and that person is still around her.
Drawing Our Moments repeats endlessly about lights, and white and dark colors.
Baekhyun says that a girl catches his entire attention, like a light or brilliant diamond. He's very fond of her, like a fan, but it's very difficult to have her heart.
