The BC NDP& #39;s landlord subsidy is even worse than we thought:
a) It& #39;s per household, not tenant. So if you got laid off but another household member didn& #39;t, you may not be eligible.
b) It& #39;s been lowered to $300 per household without dependents. It was supposed to be $500.

c) Eligibility is also based on your 2019 household income. Not just if you were laid off recently & your income is now whatever you can get from Employment Insurance.
d) All household members have to provide income documentation (in e-format) & landlords have to apply as well.

In the Frequently Asked Questions it says roommates can apply individually, but it also still says each applicant has to supply proof of income for all household members older than 19. So what counts as a "household?"
