Men are trash and don’t deserve nice things: Today I decided to buy ingredients for all the meals I could possibly cook as I don’t want to be out the next couple of weeks... so of course, I needed to get an uber back. My uber driver was super nice and helpful. 1/7
He even gave me two masks because I don’t have good ones. I asked him where he got the disinfectant wipes and masks from. He got them from his wife - a nurse. She was taking masks from the hospital for him and she always found wipes because she was worried about him. 2/7
I said goodbye and even gave him a tip because he gave me masks and helped me load & offload my groceries. As I was putting things in my fridge, I realized that I had left some things in the backseat of his car. So I contacted him again through uber. He got my address & came 3/7
He had my groceries in his hand and after I thanked him, I tried to take the bag out of his hand but he wasn’t budging... peering into my soul, he said “You know this is a sign right?” “A sign of what?” “A sign that you were meant to cook for me” me: *laughs nervously* 4/7
“Sure thing, I’ll let you know when the food is ready” “How will you contact me when you don’t have my number?” “The same way I contacted you to return my things” “nahhhhhhh that was through uber, let me get your number” “sure thing - **********” 5/7
Do you know that this man actually called my cell to make sure I didn’t give him a fake number??? He finally let go of my things and before he left, promised to treat me well... can you imagine trying to get a side chick during a fucking pandemic???? Risking your job??? 6/7
Like, he saw me not wearing a mask, so like the chances I could have it are higher than his... and still... and his wife too is risking her job to provide protection for him... and this is how he repays her... again, men are trash and don’t deserve nice things 7/7 - fin
