Listen. This isn’t pleasant.

There’s a real possibility Trump and his corporate friends will reopen this country without necessary precautions or due diligence and thousands upon thousands will die while the media doesn’t cover it.

It is...horrific but completely feasible.

America has a terrible history of letting these crimes go unobserved and unaddressed. I don’t want this to be true, but recent history suggests it’s inevitable.

America’s inability to focus or continue necessary vigil is a total nightmare and it feels like it’s coming.

It’s what happened with the Iraq War. With Katrina. With Puerto Rico. With the opioid epidemic. It happens and it just gets buried under our incessant need for distraction and appetitive for whatever comes next.

It could cost so, so, so many lives.
