We're telling people to stay home to help save lives.

But for some Victorians, home is the most dangerous place to be right now.

That's why today we announced:
More than $40 million for additional crisis accommodation and specialist family violence services.

$20 million for short-term accommodation so that people have somewhere to stay safe.

And extra support for family violence services – including new technology and protective equipment to keep service staff and family members safe.

We owe it to Victorians fleeing family violence to make sure help is there when they need it.

And this way – there will be.
