i just binge watched the majority of American Crime Story: the Assassination of Gianni Versace and can i just say WOW!

i didnt think id like a crime series this much but its actually really good. It got my interest almost immediately and i sat there and kept watching. completely lost track of time

The show is in an interesting format- the timeline is in reverse order so we see the crime first then everything leading up to it going back into the killer’s life

And can i just say- darren criss is a pretty amazing actor PROVEN. he can be believable as andrew with just as much passion as he did blaine in glee or potter or any of his other roles

and we have sympathy for his character. Thats one of those things you wouldnt normally have for a killer, but darren portrays him as a human and we do see him as this person who ends up killing 5 men. but thats not all you see, you see a man with emotions, struggling to find love

and yeah, hes a messed up guy with a big ego who lies a lot but you see the human parts of the character who’s the bad guy, which almost gives him vulnerability to the audience y’know

i need to stop ranting lol i barely know what im talking abouttt, this is just me rambling at this point. but I recommend this show! i’ll probably continue this thread after i finish it cause im 7 episodes in so i have a little more to watch but its gooooood
