this thread points to the 'what, to get laid?' line and that likely did trigger jeremy, but michael had no knowledge of what happened w chloe so i dont blame him obviously. however, it does help show that michael doesnt know the full scope of jeremys depression.

michael is a great friend but he still struggles to understand jeremys perspective ESPECIALLY the idea that jeremy could have different goals and feelings from him despite them being best friends. jeremy definitely acted out more but michael also didnt fully get it from the start
