Hey, Biden-people:

Don't condescendingly demand that anyone upset about him being the nominee now pretend like Biden is perfect.

I think it's vital that we vote to remove the current guy. I'm half-Hispanic, and I am well aware of the campaign of ethnic cleansing he's on.
Biden was nowhere near my first choice, but the idea of anyone not voting, or voting third party, horrifies me and leaves me feeling incredibly alone in all of this.

I know many people have utterly BS reasons for hating Biden, and are just speaking from privilege.
But there are also a lot of good people with valid complaints about him, and there are lot for whom voting for yet another alleged sexual abuser - and someone we've all seen, on-film, violate the bodily autonomy of women and girls - is a deeply painful experience.
So respect that. We don't get to talk down to those people. We get to listen.

Understand their perspectives, and learn to see the real-world damage that is caused when we, as a society, excuse those behaviours in men.
Next time, make sure the guy who doesn't understand any of that, doesn't get the nod to run for President of the United States. We deserve better.

That's how you prevent people from having a hard time voting against a fascist. Not by berating their real and entirely valid pain.
Do better. Listen. Understand. Start to *fight* that problem, and not imagine it's a political attack.
