When I think of the perils of the Ego, I can only come up with the worst one being the illusion of separation. So much sadness and grief stems from that erred perception. When you cannot intuitively see your Oneness you open the door to destructive acts. Against yourself.
Because of lack of awareness it takes Existence or the Universe a longer time to evolve into higher states of manifestation. I know this because as I become aware of the Oneness of the self I also see the futile attempts to be violent and competitive as madness.
The self evolves regardless and because of the ignorance of its constituent agents. We as agents provide information that builds and constructs the expression we perceive. It is not inertia that leads us to experience violence, evolution will occur with or without us.
We can experience the level of bliss and joy that we choose to. Evolution does not need to be a blessing wrapped in a curse. This is the beauty of variation, this is what makes Existence worth happening. There are possibilities and some will enhance the path of evolution.
When the path veers towards less fortunate or violent experiences we see the work of Balance bring moments of peace and bliss. But equilibrium does not need extremes. It is of course at this stage of our evolution a more thrilling way to live, but it does not need to be so.
We do not need to produce additional challenges in our experience by being unaware of our Oneness. Existence being an ever changing experience already has many challenges to explore. As human agents we cannot count ourselves as productive parts of Cosmic Evolution yet.
In order to become better agents of our Universe we need to first stop disrupting and destroying ourselves. Then and only then will we be ready to form part of an optimal flow in evolution. Oneness and it's awareness can help us get to that point. Challenges will still be.
But we can help the Universe evolve without tying our own hands behind our back. If you study all types of Cosmic Consciousness Agents you will realize that they have evolved first as groups and then transcended to a unity Consciousness. We are stuck at a basic level.
Just as our human explorers could see the horizons beyond seas and mountains, I can see the endless realm of possibilities. We can be much more than we are right now. And I think the key to the Evolution is to realize our unity to each other and then to all. This is the way.
I extend my words as a way to point towards an uncommon thought. The biggest challenge we face is ourselves. Our ignorance of Self, our divisive illusion, and our crippling isolation. We will evolve. We choose how.
