Many of you have written kindly and asked us about the status of the summer conference, so we hope this thread helps a little with your planning.

As of now, we have not cancelled or postponed and we plan to move forward as planned. That being said, of course this could change.

As you know, the conference is scheduled for July 8-9. By the end of April, we hope to have a better vision of what things may look like in July, including how our site host this year, @CofC , is handling summer events.

So…stay tuned. But in the meantime, please continue to submit presentation proposals. We have a powerful schedule coming together, but we know that times are tough and folks lives have been disrupted.

All Y'all is a collective of folks from all over the place who believe in public schools as bedrock institutions in a democracy and who want to see them as places with equitable opportunities for all.

All Y’all is a group of people who love the diversity of the South and work to combat the historical inequities of our region. We need to work together always, but especially now. We are seeing inequities play out right before our eyes.

Our rural friends and our inner-city friends are often locked out of broadband access. Folks are considering loosening special education protections. Folks are experiencing increasing economic security.

Parents and caregivers are somehow expected to keep a productive workforce presence while also all of a sudden fully managing their children’s learning experiences.

Now is a time to take care of one another.
