NHC says 14 asymptomatic patients developed symptoms as of April 9, while another 40 were released from quarantine.

In Hubei (which includes Wuhan, epicenter of the outbreak), 18 new asymptomatic cases were reported on April 9. No asymptomatic patients developed symptoms, 17 were released.
