I have just finished the first episode of FREUD on Netflix. I am pretty sure I have read more Freud than anyone involved in the making of this show. However the show features:

1. An extremely hot Freud
2. Seances
3. Murder
4. Highly metaphorical shots of people walking in tunnels
5. A tableaux vibant
6. Nods to Breuer & Charcot
7. A small fluffy dog
8. Nudity
9. Dreams involving horses
10. Several hysterics
11. Copious cocaine use

So I am all in.

Now, Episode 2: “Trauma”

1. Freud’s hot mom
2. A hot Hungarian medium
3. No one caring at all about the Hippocratic oath
4. Shabbat
5. Aggressive corset-lacing
6. An “Inspector Kiss”
7. Mutilated feet
8. Hysterical blindness
9. Two soldiers spooning
10. Fugue states

I cannot keep this up without giving away too much so I will just say that episode 3 features: A CHILD MUMMY. I’m here if you want to talk about this show.
