/ One of my favorite parts of these days, I guess weirdly, is toward the end of them when I get a chance to pull back and take a deeper look at the work the @PhillyInquirer crew is doing 24/7. It’s basically this and my recently purchased cast iron pan that I enjoy right now.
/ Sure, most of the news is shitty. But the telling of it has been objectively remarkable. And that’s coming from the perspective of someone who’s also just trying to keep up with what the hell is going on. Here’s some of it. https://www.inquirer.com/health/coronavirus/
/ It’s not just us, of course. I’m also a frequent @nytimes, @WSJ, @GuardianUS and @freep reader, and they’re at the top of their game, too. As I imagine others are.
/ In terms of vouching for the value of good journalism, the industry is having a real I Told You So moment. I hope more people continue to recognize that (as so many already have).
/ All this is to say, you should subscribe to a news organization or two if you’re not already, and get a cast iron if you don’t already have one (seriously life changing).
