The problem with the modern Left is the exact same reason why they fit in so well with the Democrats: they're either PMC, the spawn of PMC, or aspirational PMC.

They talk like PMC, act like PMC, react like PMC: that's how they can hear "symposia" without retching.

Biden and Bernie are both outside of that framework. It's why BOTH of them were successful in their own way. It's why neither Liz nor PPG could ever reproduce their success.
