Right off the bat. Had the design team ever seen a cat move their tail? They just kind of float behind the actors unresponsive to stimulus or emotion #FSFCATS

They cut the second verse from "The Naming of Cats" so the song says "a cat must have three different names" and then only talk about two of them.
This is some of the only exposition we get and they cut it

And Rebel Wilson has removed her skin. Cool. Gumby cat may be the worst number in the show

CATS treatment of Gumby Cat, Mr. Mistoffelees, and Bustepher Jones is such a disappointment. Three characters with distinct personalities, blanched, drained, reduced to physical gaffes, and being the butt of cheap jokes. #FSFCATS

Bustepher exemplifies everything wrong with these characters. In the original show these characters are earnest, but for the movie they asked "what if they were actually stupid and delusional?" Bustepher should be dignified instead of covered in garbage #FSFCATS

Mungojerry and Rumpleteaser is yet another let down. First of all their accents are wildly inconsistent. There is absolutely no reason for Victoria to be in this scene. This is also the best dance number in the show and instead they've chosen to show off the bizarrely scaled sets

Now for the introduction of my favorite pointless subplot! Macavity steals the A-List celebrities so they don't have to appear in the group scenes #FSFCATS
