Honestly am enraged what uneducated individuals are saying about the DID community online (will not link because don't give them the views).
The amount of comments we have seen referring to the community that is open about their lives as being TW TW

"sexual deviants" whom have secret handshakes and code words to find each other to "commit our crimes" is probably one of the absolutely most disgusting things we have seen in reference to this community.
FACT: You can have DID/OSDD/any trauma based disorder and have a healthy

sex life. You can have TW TW consensual kinks. The people who are spreading these absolutely disgusting rumors are why people STIGMATIZE MENTAL ILLNESS AS A WHOLE. You can have a TW TW trauma disorder from CSA and not be sex repulsed. Please remember that if YOU are

uncomfortable with sex, sexual talk, etc...that's fine...that's where you are at in recovery. Do not project that discomfort on to people who are at a point in their recovery where they aren't sex repulsed and, in fact, have reclaimed their sexuality. People with trauma based

disorders not being sex repulsed and being sex positive is NOT indicative of "faking". In fact, part of the treatment and healing process for us has been sexual healing! People ask for us to be transparent in how our life is and then get salty when we talk openly about these

subjects. We are absolutely shocked and disgusted that people now believe those of us who enjoy sex and aren't ashamed to talk about sex are somehow "sexually deviant" and "criminals" and are no referring to us as having a secret sex crime agenda. Absolutely disgusted

and disappointed that people are projecting their own insecurities on to a community who has opened up to try and help others like them feel less alone.
LASTLY: AGE REGRESSION IS A COPING SKILL, NOT A KINK. IT IS NOT SEXUAL AND IDFK HOW MANY TIMES THIS HAS TO BE SAID.
