/? First, sad that y'all recorded this back when u thought u were gonna meet in person at @DigPedLab soon after... but now it's not gonna be in person. BUT applaud the decision and hopefully a broader group of ppl will be able to participate now that it's online #digped
/?
Rissa mentioned sthg about hidden objectives and there's an entire body of research on "hidden curriculum" (which can be intentionally hidden, or even hidden without intention at all). Thought you might like to explore that a bit. I loved how u saw soc justice in chem
/? Sean mentioned Freire's Education for Critical Consciousness. That was my first Freire book and I loved it! I think I like it more than Ped of the Oppressed but less than his conversational books w Ira Shor and Miles Horton
/? My kid listened in w me. She loved it. She and I noticed y'all said "Maha" about 5 times or so... and she was like "there are other Mahas, right?" And I was like, uh, no, they mean me. Haha i don't think anyone ever said my last name. I'm like.... Cher or Beyoncé :))
/6 Love u all!
