Because I have the time for this I will now make a thread of my opinion on every Kirby game in release order, ending with a tier list ranking of the games. I'll also be making a pizza as I goo through it
hopefully, this doesn't take too long...

-Kirby's Dream Land
I have an odd fascination with this game, I go back to it from time to time, analyzing its design, how it is a game anyone could beat and enjoy
It's the main design philosophy of the series but unlike every game after, this was THE goal making for the game...

(Just got done making the dough)
...it’s really interesting looking at these things that are now series staples and how they are, in a way, replying to what people struggled with games at the time.
The infinite flight, the generous health bar, how inhaling made enemies...

Speaking of which, it’s fascinating seeing the series before copy abilities existed, how bosses had something related to them for you to spit back at them rather than the stars later game use, only Dedede had those

And even now there is still nothing like the extra mode in this game and it's interesting looking into how they made a challenge for the player with all of the freedom Kirby
There is a lot I look into, and most of it isn't really that talked about which I guess makes it fun(?)

-Kirby's Adventure
fun fact, for the longest time I had hard time figuring out if this game and NiDL were the same or not, the fact that they were named differently really confused me as a kid...
Gosh I love late NES games, they have such pretty colors and visuals...

It's hard to come up with something to say about this game, I like it for all the reasons everybody else does, It's pretty, it's fun, it's cozy(?) I do find myself trying to beat the boss rush on the 3DS version once in a while (it's been 3 years and I still haven't beat it)
-Kirby's Pinball Land
The title theme is infamous already due to the 4ch*n post but honestly, it really does embody the fool that you are for booting up this game
Pinball Land is Pinball, I can't Pinball well and failure in this game fills me with very not nice fellings

the process of reaching the boss is a brutal struggle of patience and when you get to reach them it's just soo easy to just be sent all the way to the bottom with something that was seemingly beyond your control
I have a deep respect for the people that beat this game on the GB
I have a deep respect for the people that beat this game on the GB
this games just does not leave my consciousness, this game somehow got to be darn 25th-anniversary orchestra in a medley with the ball-curse games, and I keep just thinking about that, it's something I sometimes bring up in a conversation with some, I don't how to feel about this
-Kirby's Dream Course
This game haunts me in my nightmares, I really wanted a copy of KSS as a kid (my aunt gave me a SNES for my birthday) but it doesn't matter where I looked, nobody was seeling it, but you know what Kirby game they had?

I only recently have been playing through the game, I like figuring out the most effective way of going through each course, it's neat, and the music is kinda soothing in a way, I wish golfs were real...
(and now the dough should have grown enough)

-Kirby’s Avalanche
Yeah, I play puyo puyo, in fact did you puyo puyo started off as an spin-off to a series called madou monogatari? And the plot was mainly a parody of that series plot (sorta)?
That’s the reason the games were changed in the west, not what Tetris attack got

Everyone is aware of Kirby’s dialogue in this game, I kinda like how most of the other characters are portrayed though? Like how Kracko is into music and I think some of their voices are cute
It’s a shame that they went with the first puyo puyo for the localization of these...

... as that was before they brought chain blocks and counters, so the game ends up just becoming a race of gets to make a 5-chain first
I wonder if what people in Japan think of it...

Finally... Kine the Fish
This game is a dumby, It's a fun ol' time when you start it but as you go through it, the level design starts becoming a lot more... silly, to put it lightly

this is especially the case with the rainbow drops, I'm still haunted by the Kine one in the Ice level
but I can't help to feel a bit of fondness to the "silliness", It can be amusing and funny
...not the final boss though that is a real time consuming slog

-Kirby's Block Ball
Yo this game is just so cool? It's like, the coolest breakout game I have ever played (though I haven't really played that many, sorry breakout fanatics)
It has just so much packed in each level and these fun challanges to do...

AND THEN THE MUSIC??!? this game has the biggest ost of all the game boy games and all the tracks are great??? there are slaps, bops, vibes, it really goes off (none of them are remixes either, in fact, this is the last time there ever was a Kirby game with an all-original ost)
It's a super big shame none of the track in this game came back
seriously the box art doesn't lie, this is a real chad of a game, I love it, I can't even describe it
it's a really cool breakout game

-Kirby's Toy Box
When I said I was gonna give my opinion on every Kirby game, I MEANT IT
So you see, Toy Box isn't actually ONE game? rather it's a series of small mini-games that each were distributed separately
𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮

It is unfortunately not a slot machine (that would've been too simple)
I don't get this one, I got the high score two tries in, you would forget about this one imidietly after playing it

-Round and Round Ball
Imagine this being your last game appearance
this is a very basic game, it's really easy to figure out the timing for the best hole, your score is really just decided by a dumb rng bonus, I really have nothing else to say

-Arrange Ball
When I saw this screen it was horror at first sight
You have as many balls as there are Frostys to pick you up, gonna take a while to get them all though cause this game has some of the mos slippery ball physics I've ever seen
In a way it gives it some longevity

-Cannonball
It's not really a fun game to play by yourself and I think you'd need a really good buddy to get some fun out of this, it's clunky it's slow, but you can make a high ground joke so it's all good

And we're back to this again oh joy
You can't see in this picture, but Kirby is WAY bigger than you'd expect him to be and he flies through the table at a really fast speed, you can barely react to it
It's a shame cause the table is filled with thing to interact with

-Baseball
I don't wanna "Kirby" and "Baseball" in the same title screen ever again
this game actually uses pinball-like mechanics and tries to recreate baseball and it's rules with it
If you play 2 player mode, it's structured like a match of baseball

Now if you play on 1 play mode, you suffer
you're are supposed to react to a ball that launches at a random speed AND angle and have it be timed well so it actually lands on a score
It's brutal, you can get 3 Outs and lose right as you start the game (those OUT spots are EVIL)

-Star Break
Don't be like me and have this be the second game you play out of the bunch
This is the highlight of the collection
The game itself is another breakout game, the physics are kinda weird, the ball isn't as bouncy as you'd expect in a breakout game

So you see, all these games just reuse tracks and sounds from Kirby's Avalanche and Dream Curse, that is, all except this one, it actually has original music to it
the game as whole feels more substantial than the others, it has like, stages, and a fight with Dedede at the end

the game feels very cozy too, it feels like I'm playing a game in a giant GBC, I like it
The two Ricks(????) are also expressive, they look around and react to Kirby reaching the ground, dance when you win, it's really cute
there's just a surprisingly lot in this game

So since I have to rank them all as one, here are some overall thoughts
I convinced each of these were made by 2-4 devs at HAL and I kinda find an appeal to these
on every one of these, they show the menu from KSS as a teaser
it ended making me wish these games were in Ultra
