I just heard the stupidest segment ever aired on the John and Ken Show, KFI AM 640.

They had on @AlexBerenson, author and former New York Times Reporter, to tell us that the reaction to COVID-19 is "overblown."
He had a screaming child on his lap, so it was almost impossible to hear him, but everything he said was absolutely moronic.

This, for example:

"The hospitals are empty. WHY ARE WE STILL TALKING ABOUT INDEFINITE LOCKDOWNS?"
That's a lie.

Nobody's talking about "indefinite lockdowns."

And Berenson is addressing the lowest of all low-hanging fruit:

The models.

Guess what?

THE MODELS DON'T MATTER.
We can see with out own goddam eyes what's happening in New York City, New Orleans, Dade County, Italy, Spain, and so on.

As for the hospitals being empty, what does it say that FEWER PEOPLE ARE BEING HOSPITALIZED NOW than before COVID-19?
It says that social distancing is preventing the flu, and staying at home is preventing car accidents, motorcycle accidents, drunk driving, work accidents, and heart attacks while exerting yourself.
Right below THAT is chronic lower respiratory diseases, which ALSO cause sudden death when you exert yourself.

Berenson worked for the New York Times, which proves that he has absolutely no regard for the truth.
The goal is to attack @realDonaldTrump from all sides so that no matter WHAT he does, he's wrong.

First the press said he overstated the danger of the virus. Then they said he didn't take it seriously enough.

The EMERGING narrative is that he overreacted.
Somebody answer this:

Singapore and Sweden didn't lock down. They said it was unnecessary.

Now they've locked down.

WHY?
Berenson, "This isn't an existential threat, so why are we stomping on the Bill of Rights?"

Who's this "we"?

It isn't Trump.

Florida had no lockdown.

Now it does.
