Beloved friends, this is the only thing I’ll say about the primary. I would vote for a half-rotted turnip before Trump. But as a Warren supporter nothing infuriated me more than people screaming “BEND THE KNEE” while I was still processing her loss.

The election is not until November. You have months to convince people that we cannot bear Trump another four years. You do not need to beat people over the head today, or this week. We really do have time for them to come around. Let people grieve.

They do not need to agree to support Biden this minute, or this week. They can work through emotions. November is a long way and the world is in terrible flux and this is a bad time to jab the sore spot. Let it be, just for a little while.

I promise, we all want a different better world.
