I’ve gone full mad scientist on how to kick villagers out in #ACNH https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> but I have now perfected it so here’s a huge thread about it:

TEGAN’S GUIDE TO KICKING VILLAGERS OUT:
1. Befriend the villager you want to kick out. This will increase the chances of them wanting to move. 1/?
2/?

How do I know I’m friends with a villager?
- They send you letters

Letters clarified:
•When a villager sends you a letter about a new addition to your house or when they just first move in don’t seem to indicate much
3/?

For example: Rocket is my least favourite villager and I’ve only started talking them today but when I added a new room to my house they sent me a letter to congratulate me. I’ve been trying to get them to move out from Day One and they have yet to do so.
4/?

•Letters that seem more random or have something to do with you have better merit
For example: Marshal sent me a letter about how he had a dream about me so he thought he send me a letter and now he’s moving out.
5/?

- They give you gifts back: not money or just say oh thank
- Go to their birthday parties and give them a gift
- If they are sick and you go over to give them medicine
- You give them back a lost item
- Catching flees off of them
6/?

Sometimes you can here a jingle when you become friends with a villager and also you will get a nook miles reward if you haven’t filled that card out already)
This process took me 7 to 10 days of skipping a day at a time just to be sure.
7/?

I talked to the villagers I wanted to kick out and gave them gifts daily (usually something cheap from the shop or tailors or stuff that I had extra of or an item I didn’t want but hadn’t sold it yet, it doesn’t matter what they are always happy to get a gift.
8/?

2. Once you feel confident you’ve made an effort time skip or wait 14-20 days and hopefully the villager you wanted to move is thinking about doing so.
9/?

3. To ensure the villagers I wanted to keep didn’t get mixed up in this like they were in the beginning I just kept the relationship to a minimum by just taking to them when I saw them but it’s best to just fully ignore the ones you want to keep.

WARNING: the last villager that has moved onto your island will not move out until someone else leaves and moves in becoming the next new villager!
