1/ Been meaning to tweet this out for a few days. Brian usually hits on comics that are pretty close to my personal tastes. This one is a great story that hits my Archie tastes perfectly. https://twitter.com/brian_cronin/status/1245874900474179585
2/ Theres a formula and a rhythm to a good classic Archie story. You have to compress a lot of info into a handful of pages, while keeping it a light and breezy read. Funny helps too.
3/ Many years ago the late great Archie editor Victor Gorelick showed me some old scripts he had in desk for inspiration all by Frank Doyle. It got me to really look for his stories. And they’re a lot of them. All in the Archie formula. Unless...
4/ Unless Frank decided to completely break the formula and try something new. Which always seemed to fit in perfectly with the Archie formula. Which he did on this one. So go back to the first tweet in this thread and read a fun story. Great rediscovery by @Brian_Cronin
