There’s has been and likely never will be a player like Lionel Messi again. He’s the best passer, assister, dribbler, playmaker and technically gifted player ever to play the game...

Ronaldo isnt the best passer, isn’t the best dribbler and isn’t the best playmaker... but he’s top tier at literally everything in the game. There’s nothing he can’t do. Both feet, in the air, Set pieces, link up play, goalscoring and the best big game player ever...

Now the difference is... Messi fans, like Messi because they see how good he is and they appreciate his talent... Ronaldo fans love, cherish and ADORE him. The look up to him, aspire to be like him, they’re borderline obsessed with him...

There’s a saying “if you was going to go to war you’d choose Ronaldo because he’s drive you to victory but Messi would need Xavi and Iniesta to help him win it” now we know Messi would be AMAZING anywhere he goes, but he doesn’t ooze that passion and leadership Ronaldo does...

Ronaldo played for Man U and was their best player in a team full of world class players, then was the best in a Madrid team full of WC players, and now the same at Juve. He came out of that exact same Madrid team and they INSTANTLY crumbled...

Ronaldo dragged Madrid to 3 UCLs in a ROW, while the league was completely dominated by Barca. Then went to Juve and gets MOTM every other match. Lead PORTUGAL to euro victory and was there to bang a HATTRICK vs Spain in the WORLD CUP...

When Juve we’re down 2-0 in the UCL first leg a reporter asked Ronaldo what will happen in the 2nd leg and said he’s gonna score a hattrick and that’s exactly what he did. Ronaldo has the ability to drag his whole team to victory single handedly even on a bad day...

Now Messi is undoubtably phenomenal... but whenever I watch him, I’m slightly underwhelmed. I’ll watch him walk around and give moments and sharpness and then I’ll hear he scored 5 goals vs Valencia the next week...

Ronaldo could go to Watford FC & still be Ronaldo, I feel Messi would go Watford & still be Messi, but a bit of a watered down version of Messi.. Ronaldo came back from being 4-1 down in Balón D’ors to 5-5, & then get robbed from the 2018 one, whole Messi arguable stole the 2010

In Summary, I think Messi is a better player, but hasnt taken on as much, had as much pressure and has had more help throughout his career. Messi will be Messi no matter what, but Ronaldo has been speaking his greatness since a kid, had constant hate but still never lets you down
