1/5 Today’s #COVID19 update: the 5 @UofCAHealth academic med centers ( @UCSDHealth @UCLAHealth @UCIrvineHealth @UCSFHospitals @UCDavisHealth) disseminate #SARSCoV2 data to the public each day. 15147 patients received test results so far; 944 had detectable virus = 6.2%.

2/5 We are now able to show #COVID19 inpatient data. 239 #SARSCoV2 positive patients have needed to be admitted to any of our 10 hospitals to date, and 125 patients have been discharged home. @UofCAHealth cared for 113 #SARSCoV2 positive inpatients yesterday.

3/5 42 #SARSCoV2 positive inpatients are in one of our Intensive Care Units.

4/5 882 @UofCAHealth patients were tested for #SARSCoV2 yesterday. (Of course, our hospital labs test more patients for other medical centers, but they are not counted here.)

5/5 The majority of our #SARSCoV2 test positive patients have not needed to be admitted to a hospital. Our tested @UofCAHealth patients are from across California, and indeed from across the country.
