So the Carlos Sainz Jr thing is starting to pop up. I want to leave my opinion stated about this subject. I don't believe he is a fascist and I couldn't care less about his personal political opinions. He's a grown man and can think whatever the heck he wants. HOWEVER. (1/4)

About his public image, I can talk. The joke he did was posted by Estrella Galicia. That "joke" was a PR move. Plenty of people could had stopped it before it saw the light, not afterwards. And yet, it was quickly deleted but not an apology was done. (2/4)

Also, I'm not Asian, but I know poor taste, xenophobic, bad timed comments when I see them. You don't need to be personally offended to know that shit was wrong. We can hide our racism in jokes, but it's still racism. I've been guilty of the same. (3/4)

And I'm only 2 months older than him, trust me, you take your time to realize what things you think, say and do are wrong, because we have normalized many things that are wrong. This silence makes me think he doesn't think what he did was wrong. (4/4)

And one extra thing. I'm not blaming McLaren nor I expect the team to do something. This is a personal mistake, perhaps alongside with Estrella Galicia. They, EG and CS, should fix this.
