A parachute is something that improves mortality from 99.99999999% to 0.0000003% in - few minutes.

Please dont analogize it to interventions that (at best) change outcomes from 3% to 2%.

*Sigh*
We wrote about all the misleading use of the analogy here:

Why is to popular to (falsely) claim something is a parachute?

Can we have an ounce of humility and say, look, we recognize that nearly nothing we do (even all the good stuff) improves the world so dramatically

We also recognize that a lot of what we think works, doesn't.
