It has come to our attention that the federal government is in the process of defunding testing for COVID-19. Some media outlets, in turn, are reporting diminishing case numbers.

This is a characteristic act of obfuscation by the U.S. government, once again at the expense of its most vulnerable citizens. Your employer wants you back at work as soon as possible, regardless of your safety.

We urge members of our community and beyond to continue self-quarantine and social distancing practices to the best of their abilities.

The diminishing number of reported COVID-19 cases does not guarantee any lower risk of contracting the virus. If *at all* possible, please do what is best for your family and community, and continue to self-quarantine.
