I would have thought it unseemly for law professors to gang up on a current law student, whatever his politics, but I guess quarantine affects judgment ...
There are around 100,000 law students in this country. Many do stupid things. Sometimes criminal things.

Attacking only one student -- whose politics you detest -- isn't the best look for law faculty.
