I've decided that one way I can give back during this crisis is to do one career consultation a week gratis for folks in need. I’m going to try to do this for as long as I have takers but we’ll see how many requests I get. Details on how to apply are below. THREAD 1/7

For the purposes of this help, I’m defining need as folks in financial hardship, those who have lost employment d/t COVID or non-COVID situations, persons with disabilities, persons who are part of under-served populations, etc. 2/7

Career consultation includes resume overhaul, cover letter re-write, LinkedIn assessment, and a 30-minute phone consultation for search advice, etc. You need to have an existing resume, preferably in Word or Google Docs in order for me to provide help. 3/7

All work from my side will be completed within 7-10 days (after selection) unless otherwise agreed. Candidates will receive updated, editable resume/cover letter files in Word/Google Docs. LinkedIn assessment will also be in Word/Google. 4/7

I can take on one gratis candidate per week, so if multiple requests come in, I’ll set a schedule and make expectations clear. Not sure for how long I can sustain this but I’ll do what I can for as long as I can. 5/7
