so i decided to go wild n turn this into a thread-each of the songs in this playlist is linked to a specific thing within the series!! 0kkultics an amazing writer, so its super easy to imagine the scenes as something out of a movie or music video lolol

disclaimer; the playlist itself is a wip, so a few characters etc may be missing from the list!! i wasn't able to include everything i wanted due to the word limit i also had to remake this as it crashed the first time, so im just gna post it as i finish each part :')

jongho; the run and go
- although we don't know a lot about his backstory yet, I think run and go matches him well!!
- he's more reserved than the rest of the crew and isn't necessarily the type to ask for help when he's struggling, which is reflected in the song (i hope) :]

seonghwa & yeosang; kitchen sink
- i feel like kitchen sink matches their dynamic well, like how yeosang explains things to seonghwa like the differences between their beliefs n how/where they were raised n what not
- "a kitchen sink to you, is not a kitchen sink to me"

ot8; gimme gimme
- this is the first of many oddly specific songs
- if wwbs was a movie, this would be its intro song
- the camera would move up, showing joong and the crew in the middle of a fight
- it'd have lil profiles pop up as the camera moves to each member

joong's dream; long journey
- the beginning for both ateez and wwbs :')
- truly iconic

yeosang; feel it still
- it reminds me a lot of yeosangs ways of surviving, and subtly rebelling
- listen.. its the vibes... the vibes are right

wooyoung; without me
- "now this looks like a job for me"
- wooyoung and his connections
- idk how to explain this one but listen.. its the vibes (again) man, it just matches him

seongsangjoong; woke the f*ck up
- i love the three of them and how they around and with eachother, n i also love jon bellion
- i feel like each of the verses matches a specific person, like in a "coming to terms w things" kind of way idkidk

straykids; get jinxed
- my spotify glitched when i tried to screenshot the song
- the worlds against me making this thread
- okay basically get jinxed and straykids have the same chaotic energy

yunho & mingi; lion
- omg dont get me STARTED
- lion playing over the kiss and the balcony scene!!
- soyeons "im a queen" line just as mingi makes the jump
- slowmo over mingi falling ("-looks like he really is flying") and then the chorus resumes when yunho catches/grabs him

seonghwa & hongjoong; suffering for love
- the "love you" and the "hate you" choruses remind me of how they act with eachother compared to what they (although mainly joong,) think about eachother
- the slowest slowburn
- its okay it'll be worth it
- they'll figure it out
