Just had someone call me out for asking a question on a literal Rent Strike group for seeking to understand someone's conceptualisation of class & where landlords sit bc that person is poor and marginalised and my questions seemed combative.

Why are these identity reductionists always first to assume someone's identity and whether they're marginalised. It fucking sucks and I feel so trampled on rn for trying to have a conversation in which I didn't assume what people meant. Ugh I'm tired, quarantine getting to me
