The @LidlGB duck is missing the promised giblets! I thoroughly probed the cavity, although not quite to the extent undertaken by @MrBean.
The bargain @LidlGB duck had far less meat and far, far more fat - and not in a good way, basically *grease* - than we'd expected. That's probably the answer to the question posed at the beginning of this thread.
