#meethewebcomic Thread time where I will not shut up about my webcomic, Prince Marine: The Dandy Robot.

Prince Marine: The Dandy Robot (henceforth The Dandy Robot for brevity) is a space fantasy about a princely robot who vows to save his kingdom from a mysterious top-hatted robot. Along the way, he will stumble upon dark secrets his naivety will not prepared him for.

The comic revolves around the titular character, the crown Prince Aquamarine (Marine for short) and his quest to find pieces of a magical Core lodged inside of him to save his home. He's naive and unknowing beyond his gilded life, but also stubborn and kindhearted.

Helping him out is a lowly vagabond named Prima, a man whose only company is adventure and the stories he can tell about them. Largely keeps his personal life to himself and maintains a distance between him and Marine, but slowly, friendship and maybe something more will bloom.

Like I'm not remotely going to be subtle or secretive on how these two will eventually end up as.

Rounding out the main cast is Iolite, Marine's pet alligator. Her only goal is to eat, sleep, and live a life of comfort. She is clearly the smartest one in the crew.

Other important characters are Marine's parents, High Queen Lazuli and King Sapphire. Both of them have secrets that may tie in to why their kingdom was invaded. For now, they defend their home while Marine is sent away to figure out this mess.

On the opposite end is Top Hat, a mysterious robot who starts the plot by attacking the Kingdom of Celeste. Top Hat has immense and unexplained powers; part of Marine's journey is to figure out who he is, WHAT he is, and what ties he has with the royal family if any.

Working under Top Hat are The Orphans, composing of a masked robot named Pearl (who REALLY has it out for the royal family), her "little brother" Onyx, and their giant pet desert frog, Garnet.

The trio is currently on pursuit of Marine and co. to bring back to Top Hat.

So far, the comic is up to Arc 2, Chapter Six.

Arc 1 had Marine and co. starting their quest and finding a Core Piece in the process. A side effect of having a magical device lodged into him are specific powers that Marine must also learn to control.

Arc 2 has Marine and co. landing on the Planet Vermilion where he is currently seeking out the next major Core Piece.

Reoccurring characters includes the hotheaded princess Ruby and stuffed shirt, Councilor Catalina.

The comic is currently on Chapter Six and on hiatus while I deal with some irl stuff first, but it's about 250+ pages, so there's plenty to read and lots to catch up on.
