Are any of the people claiming direct responsibility in public for the government's decisions re Corvid-19 response women?
By all means analyse this through a political lens. But we are not strangers to men claiming individual responsibility in a workplace for what is a team effort. And its not complex as to why it happens. Power, patriarchy, individualism.
I mean hell we have all probably been tempted to do it (even done it) given the dominant culture we work in encourages competition, lack of cooperation and rewards masculine traits. But we should name it for what it is to make it more visible.
and pretty much everyone of all genders who has seen this sort of thing happen before and think it is deeply uncool, is just thinking "put it away dude, you are just embarrassing yourself"
