Stop caring about being right, and do the work.

The dominant voice of the left are morally righteous grad students trying to one up each others theory or historical knowledge. It's an intellectual game. Egoism in its purest form. That needs to end.

I don't give a shit how many history or theory books you read. Do the work.

You won't be the hero of this story, and that's ok. This "movement" if it comes to pass will come from years of people working together on the ground level. Starting with your coworkers, or your local Foodbank. It starts with improving the lives of the people around you.

Then maybe one day you will help improve the lives SOOO many people, that the majority of the country will agree that yes this is the right way to do things. Then and only then should you even THINK about the presidency. For now, it's gone. Bernie won't save you. Get to work.

And to be clear, I'm no expert, I've been a stupid kayfabe leftist, and I love dunking on ghoulish neoliberals as much as anyone. This thread is me exorcising my own demons, bc honestly I have not done the work and I'm going to change that as soon as I can leave my house :P
