Looking over racial dist data for #NYC #COVID19 deaths, I'm struck by #hypertension issues. The #SARSCoV2 virus acts thru angiotensin receptors - related to hypertension. It would be great @NYCHealthCommr @NYStateofHealth to have hypertension data on COVID cases. @greg_folkers

Imagine if #COVID19 deaths might be averted by aggressively addressing underlying hypertension -- especially high blood pressure that had been untreated or under-medicated for socioeconomic reasons. Is it possible the racial differences are linked to hypertension?
