I have been very critical any time anyone has delayed necessary assistance in this emergency.

But today... Democrats are the ones doing this...

And my liberal friends now are as silent as conservatives have been before.

Have to say I'm disappointed but not surprised.
Democrats want more money for hospitals and localities... I support this.

But that will obviously be a slightly complex debate. And will take time. Not it will get done. Everyone agrees it must get done.
But today's bill was simply expanding the SBA loan program because it may quickly run out of money.

This problem has serious repercussions.
I've talked to business owners that are scared that because they went in the first group applying for these loans, they may NEVER get that money because it looks like it will run out.
So what do those owners do?

There only solutions are:

1. Layoff employees.
2. Shutter permanently.

That is what Dems are toying with. This is not a good time to haggle.
I know of at least one friend who is out of money.

He's applied but the bank has already said they won't give him an answer until after more money is supplied.
His choice this week (THIS WEEK) is either to layoff people or sit down permanently.

So winner what Dems think his choices are now.
The hospitals and localities will need a lot more money.

But the money already allocated HAS NOT EVEN BEEN SPENT. That program hasn't even begun.
So, other that blatant political partisanship, there is no reason to delay this.

Lives and jobs are literally at stake.
People are saying the GOP aren't 'compromising'.

Um.. They already did. That is what created the program.

But the original program was too small, so they want emergency funding.

Democrats are like 'Nah, it's not an emergency ".

Either Dems support this program, or don't.
