Bernie's loss results in part from neoliberal "resistance" of progressive populism since 2016 loss. Russiagate was the vehicle, w/ a dual purpose: jingoism & Russia fear-mongering also sidelined & tainted challenges to neoliberalism. Sad that Bernie & many others played along.

When Bernie got Russiagated pre-Nevada, officials made it very clear: "Moscow could potentially consider Sanders a weaker general election opponent than a more moderate Democratic nominee."

It's that simple: anything intel officials/neoliberals don't want is what "Moscow" wants.
