It feels like many evangelism tactics and methods are predatory.
For those who want clarification: when we leverage people’s fear - especially in times of crisis - to gain an audience with them and to peddle our religion, it feels predatory and self-serving to me.
There are some loaded terms there, of course, and, as always, nuance is needed. But maybe we could get into the nuances over a cup of hot chocolate after corona passes.
Predatory evangelism: “I have information you need and I’d like to tell you about it so you can join my group.”

Non-predatory evangelism: “How can I serve and support you during this crisis?”

Maybe even better: “How can we serve and support each other during this crisis?”
Evangelism is not - must not be - a one-way street.
Cf. Luke 10.
