Cancelling my Labour membership in the morning.

Today's #ShadowCabinet announcements have confirmed I no longer belong in @UKLabour.

I struggle to understand how any socialists or those on the left of the party can stay now.

Very sad day for me after several years of hope..

Resignation email sent and direct debit cancelled. I feel relieved to be honest.

I'll now watch from the sidelines to see how things develop & hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

I really hope to be back one day but I just can't be in be in the Labour Party as it is right now.

This thread has been great for blocking lots of accounts making some pretty horrible comments.

Oddly enough, many of them with FBPE in their account name.
