Hello! We are sad that our in person events for the remainder of the spring semester are cancelled, but we’re excited to announce a way we can still support our pitt community!

We will be holding a letter drive to brighten the residents of UPMC’s two senior living communities!

Social Isolation is particularly difficult for seniors, and it can lead to worsening dementia and depression. This is a great way for UPMC seniors to feel ‘connected’ as we go through this difficult period.

Letters will be distributed to those without extended family first.

We have a hefty goal to make sure every resident in the two communities receive a letter, though! That would mean that we need 249 letters!

If you would like to participate by sending a letter electronically, mailing one, or submitting a photo, keep reading!
