I& #39;ve been on the Romanian & #39;orange& #39; wine but here goes.

The 10k is an additional & #39;budget& #39; that most MPs won& #39;t spend because they already have the equipment they need for the upwards of 5 or 6 staff they employ.

Those staff, most of who range from 16k to 26k in salary (I& #39;m on 21k at present but we& #39;ll get to that) live the lives, it might surprise you, of people on 16k to 26k.

Just as an eg, last week working from home I rang the Fijian embassy, sat on the phone for 50 minutes to help a couple with health conditions to get back from there. I have a 15 quid phone bill for my troubles. Didn’t know if they& #39;ll allow me to claim it back but I did it anyway

Anyway back to the 21k I earn working 7 days a week. I was due a pay rise at the end of month which I won& #39;t get because, despite the spin being put on the 10k for MPs that actually isn& #39;t 10k, the political atmosphere around MPs expenditure means staff get very little.

So thanks Corbynista Teen, I& #39;m glad of your solidarity as a below average income earner. I& #39;ve a few ideas of what you can do with your megaphone you performative socialist.
