The CDC has advised Americans to wear face masks to slow the spread of the coronavirus, and around the world, people are doing the same.

For your mask to be most effective, it's important that you wear it correctly.

Here are the dos and don’ts. https://nyti.ms/3e2o6p0
DON’T wear the mask below your nose. http://nyti.ms/3e2o6p0
DON’T leave your chin exposed. http://nyti.ms/3e2o6p0
DON’T wear your mask loosely with gaps on the sides. http://nyti.ms/3e2o6p0
DON’T wear your mask so it covers just the tip of your nose. http://nyti.ms/3e2o6p0
DON’T push your mask under your chin to rest on your neck. http://nyti.ms/3e2o6p0
DO wear your mask so it comes all the way up, close to the bridge of your nose, and all the way down under your chin. Tighten the loops or ties so it’s snug around your face, without gaps. http://nyti.ms/3e2o6p0
Wearing a face mask takes some getting used to. So if you're wearing one, try not to fidget with your mask and make sure to leave it on.
