Just because someone is refusing to take responsibility for their shitty behavior, that doesn’t mean that the behavior isn’t shitty. It doesn’t mean that you’re wrong or that your feelings are invalid. They don’t want to accept responsibility? They’ll have to accept you leaving.

Accept this:

There’s dating someone who apologizes then never changes and then there’s the somehow even worse scenario where they refuse to even admit that they’ve done anything wrong or even TRY to understand how it’s upsetting to you. That second one will make you feel like you’re insane.
