In the 70s during Bhutto tenure, Najam Sethi, Talpur, Ahmed Rashid & other young leftist ideologues a.k.a London group were arrested from Balochistan's Marri area -- they were supporting Baloch secessionist group - BLA.
After East Pak debacle Pak ethno-nationalists (Wali Khan, Bugti, Marri & others) gathered in London & pledged to launch a joint liberation struggle against Pakistan with Indian help.

Another reason for Pak leftist liberals to support ethno nationalists -- current love is PTM.
