many on the democratic side just don't understand the utter hatred the right has for us. theyre fine with this thing being a blue state plague. theyre fine with it disproportionately affecting black/brown americans. they're perfectly fine with that.

democrats spend a lot of time - rightly - concerned about people in red states, farmers, rural, people, etc. but the diehard conservatives in a lot of those areas look at urban america, like nyc, like a bombed out husk that should just be cleansed of life.

every day these people watch fox news and what it tells them about urban america is that it is packed to the gills with blacks, latinos, immigrants assaulting white people, killing off each other, and indulging in the worst.

that's why trump talks about cities like everywhere looks like a dc/baltimore crack den circa 1993.

and because outside of mmfa and a few other people, nobody on the democratic side even bothers to look at fox and what these people are absorbing, we're collectively oblivious to it and feed fox by appearing on it. meanwhile, gop pols just mimic the lie and get elected.
