I'm thrilled to announce that this coming academic year I'll be joining the faculty of @BUWheelock and @bu_economics, as both an associate professor education and of economics.

I'm excited about this for three reasons:

First, I'll be joining a remarkable community of @BU_Tweets' existing education and labor economics scholars, including among others @MarcusAWinters, Kevin Lang, @DanielePaserman and Johannes Schmieder.

Second, joining me at @BUWheelock will be two amazing new assistant professors, @abacherhicks and @OliviaLChi!

Andrew and Olivia do rigorous, quantitative work in education policy, with particular expertise in teachers and education-crime linkages. I'm psyched to work with them.

Third, along with Andrew, Olivia, Marcus and others, I'll be helping deepen @BUWheelock's education policy offerings.

More broadly, I'll help BU become even more of a hub for economics of education work.

Finally, let me add I've been grateful for my time at @BrandeisU. It's a fantastic place to work, full of smart, kind faculty and students.
