Is there a good reason a lot of you SoundCloud artists aren’t on Spotify? Genuinely curious. If you have originals then what’s the hold up?

Here is my take: IF you want to be SUCCESSFUL, you need to utilize EVERY platform available (referring to originals). SC, Spotify, Apple, Discord, Twitch ECT. IMHO there is no excuse to NOT utilize every platform available. Take advantage of every outlet and move accordingly.

20 bucks a YEAR for distribution and scheduling out releases in advance is a very small price/effort to pay to diversify a fan base. (also the Spotify distribution fee is actually cheaper than paying a monthly fee for SC + SC prices go up if you want to upload mixes).
