I may be uninformed but AFAIK there is no devata-darshana associated with Chanakya. Almost every important figure up until Shivaji has some sort of a dream or a devata-darshana associated with their lives.
The person's whole life changed after that one event. Be it people based on our itihasas or our charitra. Tenali, Kalidasa, Shivaji had blessings of Kalika. Even Muthuswami Dikshitar had blessings of Saraswati according to our legends.
Tulsi Das, Sur Das, Potana, Bhadrachala Ramadasu, Tukaram, Pundalik and so many more had similar devata darshana at some point in their lives. Even Vivekananda had. I couldn't find at least one such story or at least an episode a dream with Chanakya.
This is probably the reason why our collective memory of Chanakya is so weak because of this. We need such miracles, devata-darshana in some form for important characters to remain in peoples' collective memory. Otherwise, they will be forgotten in the vyavahara.
I think all across our history, especially in our itihasas, devata darshana acted as an important instrument in keeping the memory of the person alive. I guess that is so because devata-darshana is treated as a siddhi. Or maybe my useless mind is playing games!
